Wellspring

Point-of-use reverse osmosis

Five-stage reverse osmosis that reduces lead, arsenic, fluoride, total dissolved solids and cysts at the kitchen tap — the dissolved contaminants no whole-home filter can catch. Certified to NSF/ANSI 58. Fits in a cabinet and runs on line pressure alone.

Equipment only · included at no cost with Heritage and Estate

Every system ships with its owner's manual and full installation instructions. The fit is carried out by a licensed plumber you engage — any licensed plumber, no specialist certification and no proprietary tooling. Their labor is quoted and invoiced by them rather than by us, and if you do not already have someone, ask and we will give you names in your area.

Buying here also unlocks monthly payments. Ordering the system online is how you use the payment options through Affirm. We are on the phone for questions about the equipment and about sizing. Call or text (918) 359-5921, or email us, for more information.

Built to order. Systems are manufactured rather than held on a shelf, so allow up to six weeks. We confirm the date when the order is placed.

About this suite

What it is

Wellspring reduces lead, arsenic, fluoride, total dissolved solids and cysts at your kitchen tap, certified to NSF/ANSI 58. Those are the contaminants that are dissolved in water rather than suspended in it, which is why no whole-home filter catches them — there is no pore small enough and nothing for them to stick to. Reverse osmosis is the mechanism that does: water is pushed through a membrane fine enough that the water passes and the dissolved contaminants are left behind and flushed to drain. It belongs at the tap you drink and cook from rather than on the main line, because that is the water those contaminants actually matter in.

Wellspring is a five-stage point-of-use unit that sits in the cabinet under your kitchen sink and feeds a dedicated faucet. Four stages live in a single sealed cartridge — a 20-micron sediment pre-filter, coconut-shell carbon, the reverse osmosis membrane, then carbon again — with a fifth inline carbon stage polishing the water on its way from the storage tank to the faucet.

Changing the filter is the part most people expect to dread, and it is the part we would point at first. The four working stages are one hygienically sealed cartridge with color-coded fittings. You twist the old one out and the new one in. No tools, no wrench, no basin of spilled water, no separate housings to unscrew and re-seal, no membrane to handle. It is a job measured in minutes, and you do it yourself — the fifth-stage inline post-filter is the same, every six to twelve months.

How often you do it depends on what the unit is drinking. Fed straight off an untreated municipal line, that cartridge is carrying the chlorine, the sediment and the scale by itself, and the manufacturer calls for replacement around every six months on that duty. Installed downstream of one of our whole-home suites, all of that is handled upstream and the manufacturer’s twelve-month interval holds. Both intervals are the manufacturer’s, set by how hard the cartridge is working, and both match what we see in the field. That is half the consumables over the life of the unit — which is why we include a Wellspring with every Heritage and every Estate rather than selling it as an upgrade. The two systems are better together, and we would rather you owned the pair than talked yourself out of one of them.

Two numbers get quoted for a system like this and they measure different things. The membrane inside is a 50 gallon-per-day membrane — that is its size. The figure that matters is the certified one: 14.61 gallons a day, measured by the Water Quality Association under standard laboratory conditions, and your real output moves with your feed pressure and water temperature. Either way it is far more than a household drinks, which is what the storage tank is for. Two gallons sit ready behind the faucet, so the glass fills at the speed you expect rather than at the speed reverse osmosis actually works.

There is nothing to plug in. The system runs entirely on your household line pressure, with an automatic shutoff valve that stops production when the tank is full. That means no outlet under the sink, no transformer, no controller, and nothing that stops working in a power cut. It needs no wall mounting and no bracket either — at 9.7 inches wide, 13.8 deep and 15.4 tall, and 11 pounds — and that is the whole thing, storage tank included, since the two ship strapped together as one unit — it sits in the cabinet beside the trap and leaves room for what you normally keep under there.

It is manufactured by Nimbus Water Systems in Murrieta, California and supplied through Aquamor as a sourced product rather than an Aquamor-engineered one. The NSF/ANSI 58 certification for arsenic, cysts, fluoride, lead and total dissolved solids is held by Nimbus, and the unit is tested to that standard rather than merely built to it.

What's in the set

This suite ships as a matched system. Components are not sold separately.

  • 4-stage sealed reverse osmosis cartridge — 20 micron sediment, carbon, reverse osmosis membrane, carbon
  • Stage 5 inline carbon post-filter
  • Two-gallon product water storage tank
  • Air-gap dispensing faucet
  • Feed water adapter and drain saddle assembly
  • Owner’s manual and full step-by-step installation instructions, included

Best for: Any home wanting drinking and cooking water treated beyond what a whole-home system reaches — and anyone who does not want another appliance to plug in, mount or think about. Included with Heritage and Estate; sold separately alongside Primary. It is a straightforward under-sink fit that any licensed plumber can carry out — no specialist certification, no proprietary tooling, and the instructions come in the box.
